Hi there,
Tim has it right, although you don't necessarily need a landing page because you could place a Mailchimp opt in form anywhere on your site with an invitation to submit their name and email address so you can send them the PDF.
You should create a separate Mailchimp list and the first email on that list, the one that's sent immediately after people sign up, contains the PDF as an attachment.
Of course, a landing page is a good idea if you need to do a bit of a sales job to get people to sign up, but the main point is:
- Create a Mailchimp list
- Insert the form on your site
- Set the PDF as an attachment to the first email
Cheers,
Martin.
Although I am new, and have a lot to learn, I understand that the way to do this is sending them to a landing page, and then having an Autoresponder to send out your emails.
Hope this is some help
Tim.

There are plenty of youtube embed plugins or your theme will even have something you can just embed the link of the youtube video to. I have something in my theme where I can just embed the raw code like this:
<iframe width="634" height="357" align="middle" src="" data-src="//www.youtube.com/embed/TZFQJApa4w4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
and it works great.
