What do you mean?
They're one of the original affiliate networks but they can be a pain in the ass with their rules and their advertisers rejecting your or emailing you about other things.
I slowly moved away from them. But they're still one of the leaders in the space and have a wide range of bigger companies to promote. Help us understand what you've been going through with them.
I applied to have Sears be one of my affiliate partners. Over a month ago. Not a peep after. I went to the CJ site to see what my status is. I tried searching every which way. Tried to search under "declined" under "accepted" under "sears". for each search, I got "0 responses". I tried writing to customer service and all I got back were links to customer service that I'd already tried. I'm ASSUMING Sears declined me but have no way of knowing for sure, since there is NO INFORMATION in my account-- no proof that I ever did even apply!
Check your internal inbox in your cj.com account some times the rejection goes there. But yes what you're going through sounds familiar unfortunately. Sigh.

First of all, OMG, why didn't they tell me, ANYWHERE on my site, to simply click on my inbox? Seriously?
Secondly, please see the attached screen shot. This is what they recently wrote to me. It sounds perfectly robotic. Tells me NOTHING. Doesn't even mention Sears, whether or not they've accepted me, nor what links etc I would need to start partnering with them!!!!!
I think they are just telling me that they told Sears that I'd changed my password after I first joined up with them. Yeah, that must be it, coz it's dated over a month ago, about the time I first applied.
Yeah I use to find messages buried there all the time. Like i said there is a reason I moved on. lol
I don't think the message has anything to do with your application to Sears. It just seems like a generic message. If you were rejected I believe you would get a message stating that. I wouldn't hold my breath. Fortunately there are other fish in the sea. Don't just wait around for them because some advertisers will approve or reject faster. So keep it moving. Otherwise it just frustrates you and doesn't really help you focus on other things you can control.
Finally a human wrote me back to tell me Sears rejected me. Otherwise, I would never have known. What other affiliate programs, other than CJ, would you recommend I check out? I am signed up with Amazon, but don't want to start linking with them yet, because they cut you off without any sales after 180 days. Thanks!

Do you think you would not got any sales in 180 days? Is your site still under construction? I know we all like to make money, but I would build the site and add content before adding any affiliate links. If you are site is pretty bare bones, this may also be why you are getting rejected. If your site is built, then your should not have a problem getting sales in 180 days.
My site's been up for three months. Honestly I hadn't even planned on getting partners til about 11 months in. Just followed a lark for a moment there! So I'll hold off as originally planned. It's not being rejected that upsets me- not in the least. It's just that CJ s website is totally lame
Yeah, it has been awhile since I dealt with them, but I know they can be pain to work with.

Glad I am not the only one. I was declined by three advertisers today after applying a week ago.
