Updating My Photo
Gees - despite of Kyle's recommendation to put real photo in your website, I was initially hesitant to put it even here in WA. I just feel, uncomfortable. Not with the way I look, it's just that out of my comfort zone. WA is my first global online community, that I interact with members/people I am not connected at all. I am not really comfortable posting my personal photo - feels like I am slowly walking to the stage in front of many people, you know. I feel shy. Please don't judge me - I was just reluctant by then. This is a big step for me.
I see people profiles, and I wonder - is that really them? I talk to some of the members with profile picture while mine, just a picture (without my face), and I was asking myself, why does I do not have that kind of trust?
What made do this? I just had a wake up call after what my friend said. "Free yourself from doubts, fears.. Share your skills, your talents, do not be afraid. You know all of these are from God, share it. Do not be afraid to fail, to be criticize -- it's okay, God will be your source and your guide."
I joined WA to learn about blogging. It was a dream for me. To have my own website, my own domain and to share my thoughts. I learn then that I can earn, which really open my mind.
Maybe someone out there is in the same situation. We may have different reasons but it feels good to step out and just do what makes you happy. WA is not just a community for me. It is a family.

Hi, Wilma. I just found your profile and loved it. I am shy and was hesitant to put my picture. My husband has just his picture. I am open in professional situations, but shy socially. I am opening up here in WA. It’s great to see your beautiful picture!
