Recovering From Major Surgery!

Hello wealthy affiliate family! I wanted to give ya'll a quick update about my life at the moment. Two days ago I just received major surgery on my left hip. I've had pain there for about four years now ever since an incident occured while I was training for gymnastics. I quit a year ago, but the pain never went away.

After several tests, X-rays and MRI's my doctors finally came to the conclusion that I needed surgery to fix all my injuries. Long story short, I have very shallow hips which means that I'm on the verge of having hip dysplasia. My bone structure is one factor of what has been causing me pain. The second factor is that I have a torn labrum. The labrum is a rim of small cartilage and muscle that surrounds the acetabulum (the hip socket). The labrum adds stability and protects the joint surface.

Due to both problems I needed two surgeries to be done on my hip. The first one was a hip arthroscopy and the second one was called a Periacetabularosteotomy (PAO). I know it's long, lol. The hip arthroscopy stitched up the labrum and shaved my femur down. The other procedure PAO cut my pelvis in four spots, shifted it to fully cover my hip socket and then used four screws to place everything back together.

This whole procedure took 5 and a half hours!! I stayed n the hospital for two days afterwards. Now that I'm home, it's going to take 6 months to fully recover, at the moment I can't walk at all, but hopefully I will be able to in 8 weeks.

This means that my main focus will be recovering and school and sadly not my website and affiliate marketing. It bugs me that I can't quite work for a while, but I can still learn, read and catch up on things all about my niche. With this much pain I can only do so much.
