This point that Demartini makes is one that is very important to the process of seeing situations clearly. It's even more important in seeing situations as we want them to be, rather than as some random event. Because if we see it as a random event, we've given away our power.
This is where that quantum physics issue raises its head. Let's remember that scientists tell us that events consists of a variety of possible outcomes depending on the mental intentions of people observing the event. So we don't have to take a passive role accepting what others have produced, we can hold a clear, strong intention for what we want and move the result in that direction.
No, we can't take over the event and create a completely new one with our mind, but we can move it in our directions. That's why Demartini says that our reality is based on our perception. And that's why I say that it's vital to hold a clear vision of what you want.
When you've been working with this for a while, people will begin to wonder how you do it. It'll just be our little secret!
