Affiliate Addiction
When I first joined this I did not think I would be so addicted to learning all the new things. I am a stay at home mom so I joined so I wouldn't go stir crazy! And it sure is working! I love to work I just absolutely hated working under someone. You might say I'm 22 and too young to make that type of statement...but with being young came the mistake of getting fired and quitting jobs that were inconvenient to my lifestyle. (Good thing I grew the hell up!) So I've been through my share of jobs!
I am a hard worker but I guess I never seen how hard I drive myself! Joining this program has helped me see my own potential! Tomorrow I get to accomplish my first real exposure of my work because I will be sharing my website for all to see on every social media account I have created. Seeing as I don't have all the content that I would like to have on it, its pretty nerve racking! But I know that I need to get it out there sometime! I mean hell I've been working on it for the past 2 months non-stop! Someone besides my husband should get access to it, right?
I do feel as though I'm not as connected in the community as I should be and I will definitely need to work on that. I love the community and I love that easy access to having everyone help and support you. It's just, I've become quite annoyed. I get on chat to ask questions or I start a thread of a new conversation and even try to show my site so that people understand I'm not a complete newbie, yet everyone treats me as If I am.
Yes I have only been here 2 months, but I have definitely worked my tail off for those 2 months and when people don't accurately reply to my questions because they assume I haven't done anything yet, its disappointing. So I guess that's what has kept me from joining more conversations lately. I don't know how to go into detail about this. But I will just have to work around this glitch and find some people who aren't so demeaning when they speak?
Anyways, it is very replenishing at night when I look at my progress and see that my site may actually help others take the leap to work from home as their own boss! I can't wait to see where all of this takes me.
It's interesting that I'm so addicted and dedicate so much of my time to work and don't even get paid lol but I have a feeling that will come very soon once I actually publish my site and get traffic! Wish me luck! And I do hope if you're reading this you say hi! It will definitely help me be more of the community :)
Thanks for taking your time out to read this super long post!
Warmest wishes,
Amber

Keep up the good work and don't let the naysayers get you down. I'm very new here and am finding my niche development is taking longer than I thought; so I'm not developing my website until I know the direction it's going to take. We're all working toward a goal here -- keep an eye on yours and work toward your success. Many Blessings. Ted
Thank you Ted! I wish you the best and hopefully when you reach a point in your site where you want to share or you want feedback to make sure it is running smoothly, you will remember this post and remember I am offering to help in any way that I can :) Good luck and the best of wishes to you!
Thanks for the offer -- it will be important when I get to the point. Have you found a way to "bookmark" people that you want to come back to? Just working the WA system takes a lot of work. Ha! To success.
Ted
Yes! I finally figured it out and I kinda feel silly it took me so long to find it! To bookmark..go to the top of the page where it has the settings wheel and to the left click on the star! That bookmarks what you want to come back to!
Thanks for the research. I'll keep this link until I can figure out what you meant by the "settings wheel" and go from there. I'm still learning. Ted
Here I will show you by screen shot! I have the star highlighted yellow :) Hope that helps a little
Thanks for the info, and I found the star and put in a Tag. Now what? I don't see the star on my Profile. Where do you store the Tags? I'm sure everything will be clear someday. Keep up the good work. Ted
It stores them by the tag that you put on it. And you will find it if you up to your wealthy affiliate search bar and to the right you will see another star. That is where you will find all your bookmarked stuff
Another thanks for guiding me along. I'm going to check it out. Thanks again for the learning experience. Ted

Nice honest post Amber. It will take time to put everything in place but you're heading in the right direction. I look forward to seeing the end result when you publish your website.
Thank you! I have already published my site within Wealthy Affiliate :) So you can see it anytime! I'd love some feed back on it if you ever have the time? Let me know if you would like for me to return the favor! And thank you for reading!
