Taking spam as an opportunity
I created a FB page for my affiliate site and I woke up to someone I don't know spamming it with their MLM advert. I was initially really angry and then I realized that most who try to generate business on FB and social media don't have what we have, and don't know what we know, about how SEO and affiliate internet marketing work. So I took the opportunity to tell her about how much more business she could create if she creates a website and makes friends with Google. that a website will refer her customers to her MLM web page and that will likely mean more business for her than what her cold and warm market might make her.
I'm not sure how many on this site don't like MLM's, but it is a business regardless and to be truthful the representative pages are usually pretty sad if you discover them on your own(granted you are not supposed to you are supposed to be sent to them after you have watched the video and want to sign up, but it is easy to find them if you are looking for someone specific) If you are lucky you will get a picture and email address and phone number with the name. I've seen many using blogs to sell their product and businesses, it only becomes a question about whether the company has a problem with a website that points to their company page. I have cousins that are making near six figures in one MLM and it seems to have been the antidote to their horrible diseases. It makes it hard to complain if it helps them but, the mute button on their FB page becomes vital, but they probably mute my page due to my political stances and cute animal videos. Time will tell if she and others who may see her post joins us to learn about internet marketing.
What do you all think??

That is a perfect example of how you can take someone who is probably desperately trying to succeed at one of those MLM schemes and not getting anywhere and help them to make better decisions moving forward with their online business.
I agree with that because that person would be grateful and you could potentially have a person to do some collabs with in the future.
Also, if you directed them to WA then it's a win-win situation :)
That is actually what I was trying to do, when I said my FB page for my affiliate site I meant that it is my referral site, though it does have other money earning options because sometime people want options. My attempt was to send her to my referral website to find out more about how to change her business approach by joining WA and learn affiliate marketing. In the end it helps both of us if she becomes a premium member, she learns website building which will expand both her sales and her downline and I get the referral. She could do the same if she decides to show her upline or downline how to expand their business by joining WA and creating websites themselves.
I recently had an old friend contact me about a "weight loss challenge" she called, only to find out, it was an MLM program, so I turned the tables on her and started talking about what I am doing and about WA.
Yeah, seriously we can help them more, they are taught to show recruitment videos and how to not have anyone say no. They should be able to embed one of those videos into their website and make the sales that way, or at the least tell any reader what the company products is doing for them, especially when it comes to a weight loss products. Including before and after pictures on their testimonial pages, it could be really lucrative because no hot or cold market can reach what Google can.
