The girl of my dreams
Today, I dreamed about her again. Her beautiful smile keeps showing up during my sleep. I hear her voice whispering in my ear, teasing me not to wake up. But I did, and as always, I looked up my phone to see her face on my screen. I think I’m starting to fall for her, and the crazy thing is that, I don’t even know her that much.
“M’s” story
Let me start from the beginning. I met “M” about 4 months ago, during my long hours at work. As soon as I saw her, something inside of me took a turn. Her beautiful smile, and her eyes dark as the night itself. I couldn’t get myself to stop thinking about her. From time to time we would talk about random things. She would ask me about my work and I would ask about her studies. Just typical ice-breaker conversation.
One day, she looked very sad, so I tried to comfort her by listening to what was bothering her. She mentioned that there was a guy she liked, a guy she had been seeing for a while now, but that he wasn’t responsive to her emotions. Honestly, hearing her troubles hurt a little, because I was starting to like her. However, I felt that, since I was on her shoes not too long ago with a girl I have met, I could give her a hand to improve her situation. We talk for 30 minutes about her love-life, things that she could do that would improve her love situation. She mentioned that as much as she would try, her guy wouldn’t take the first step. They would spend countless hours together, going to the library to study, going out to watch movies, to dinners. But nothing, he wouldn’t just take the step. So to this I replied…
