First Work Week of the Year 2017!

I mentioned in my profile that I have an online business and that Affiliate Marketing will be a second stream of online income for me. I have my own line of products that I sell online. The teachings here at WA have allowed me to get some tasks done with my other business that I was procrastinating on!

My business is extremely busy in the 4th Quarter. So, my parents, my husband and I went on a 5 day cruise to Cozumel, Mexico ~ Ocho Rios, Jamaica ~ Grand Cayman in January 2016 as a reliever after my busy season. We loved the cruise so much that we decided to take the whole family (my 2 kids as well this time) on a Christmas cruise since my business basically pauses 2 days before Christmas.

I got back from my 7 day cruise from December 24-December 31. The vacation was to Costa Maya, Mexico ~ Roatan, Honduras, ~ Belize City, Belize ~ Cozumel, Mexico. I was recharged and so motivated for 2017 that as soon as I got back I set some real, achievable goals.

I set goals for:

1. my online sales business,
2. my new affiliate marketing business
3. some personal goals.

I used all day on January 1 to:

1. reflect on my achievements and setbacks from last year
2. figure out what I needed to focus on this year
3. set specific goals for the 1st Quarter
4. set achievable action steps for each month (Jan, Feb, Mar)

One of the issues I had when I started WA in November was time management between my current business and affiliate marketing. So, I also created a weekday schedule that I must adhere to. Weekends are extra days that I can work or play!

So, it's only Thursday of the 1st work week of the year and I've already made great progress on my Q1 goals! Drumroll....

I have 4 domains total and 3 domains were just sitting at GoDaddy (some of them for several years) and now all 4 of them are live! Note: only one of the 3 is a niche site that I'm working on with WA's teachings that I started in November.

Now that I understand wordpress a lot better I was able to get 2 of my online business sites up and running. One is for a specific product line and the other is for my overall business that states who we are. I need it for tradeshows and creditors and anyone seeking to do business with me.

My business website had been down since mid-2015, so to get it up and running in a day was a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders. I feel so productive! I also want to tweak the other wordpress site that I wasn't going to touch...but I'll save that for Q2 since I already have Q1 all mapped out.

I went to pinterest and found a Quarterly Goal Review template. The one I ended up using was from: http://www.acornsandlemonade.com/quarterly-review-.... Just get it going if you haven't already!
