Yelp's Iconic NightSo a fun fact about me is that I'm a Gold Elite Yelper. I won the Yelptime Achievement Award this January 2019 for my "yelping" around Tampa Bay. Many of you may not even know that Yelp had such communities, but they do. As an Elite Yelper we get to eat at local establishments, experience new activities and go to fun events! Last Sunday when everyone else in the world was watching the Game Of Thrones finale I was attending a huge Yelper Party where we had to dress up as an Ic

This is for my SonInactive on WASo, it's been a while. I joined WA in November 2016. I created a few "static" sites for business purposes and never really became a blogger. Time wasn't on my side becuse my specialty food distribution business I left my IT job for took off tremendously and all my extra time went to growing the business. Maybe I just lacked the passion or a good niche. I held on to WA and paid the yearly fee because I strongly believe that even if I don't use the awesome training

I am constantly learning, even while I work. If I'm doing busy work that doesn't require my undivided attention I'll put on a video that I can listen/watch in the background so I'm killing two birds with one stone. I've listened to accounting videos, language videos, I learned how to do my current online business via video and I've listened to audiobooks.I also watch live video classes here at WA while I work. I've learned quite a bit this way because I watch all videos in 2X speed or more depe
I mentioned in my profile that I have an online business and that Affiliate Marketing will be a second stream of online income for me. I have my own line of products that I sell online. The teachings here at WA have allowed me to get some tasks done with my other business that I was procrastinating on! My business is extremely busy in the 4th Quarter. So, my parents, my husband and I went on a 5 day cruise to Cozumel, Mexico ~ Ocho Rios, Jamaica ~ Grand Cayman in January 2016 as a reliever afte
We decided to take a Caribbean Cruise for Christmas this year and take Ugly Christmas Sweater photos on Christmas Day. I wish everyone at WA a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah &/or Happy Holidays! ~Aloha

The LieIn my last blog post I stated that my next step would be to complete the menus on my website before moving on to Course 3. Well, after posting my website on 'Site Comments' and 'Site Feedback' I learned that Google may not like seeing affiliate links in my blog posts. I only have 2 blog posts and I only had one affiliate link, but I got the warning that I should put affiliate links in reviews only.Affiliate Review PagesI had to move on to the next course so I could learn about this...mak

Feelings about Where I AmI'm at the end of the Online Entrepreneur Certification Course 2: Building Your Own Traffic Producing Website Level 2 training. By following the course instructions step by step, this is the furthest I've gotten on an affiliate marketing website. WA really works. The tasks in each lesson is so important to the growth of your website. Actually follow the steps...not just getting through the lessons. That's what I would have done in the past. I can get through any trainin

Maybe I'm looking too far into this, but I got an email from Wealthy Affiliate at 12:58 PM EST today stating that my website (that's definitely not ready for eyes to see yet) has been indexed by Google.I have an idea of what that means...but not really. So I searched WA to find out how I can verify this information. I spent about 3 hours doing a lot: 1. I set up google analytics (since it was on my to do list anyway).2. I googled a few ways to figure out my ranking. I figured out I have to chec
I had to keep telling myself that as I worked to finish Course 1. I don't know how many times I've started a project or a website for that matter to never finish because it wasn't perfect. Or I'd learn something, but never put what I've learned into practice because "I wasn't ready."I upgraded to premium yesterday after only signing up for WA 3 days before. I couldn't pass up the Black Friday deal and I felt like if I didn't just do it, it would never get done. So, I told myself that if I'm goi
