Sick In Bed But Grateful
I have had the flu for 3 weeks now. Actually it goes in stages, by Sunday evening I'm done and ready for bed where I stay until Wednesday or Thursday night, sometimes Friday afternoon. I have called off from one job twice, which is something I cannot yet afford to do. Last weekend I had a security gig and a show Friday and Saturday, I made it through both with flying colors. Did my jobby job on Sunday, and by the end of the day I could barely move. Again I was back in bed Sunday night. My fever just broke a few hours ago so I can move around without being dizzy and woozy.
At first, I thought to myself that I was being a bad person because I wasn't lifting my head to write a blog, write a post, work on my new online jobby job doing transcription. I have things I want to do online to see if I can make some quick cash so I can pay a bill or two, but I did none of them. If I don't make money my bills don't get paid, talk about stress.
Then I thought about it. My bills will get paid somehow, now that I am feeling a bit better and can concentrate. I am working towards making money in a way that if I get sick again I don't have to worry. It will take care of itself. I may be a bit stressed now, but I am grateful that I don't ever have to feel this stressed again. I don't want to get sick, but these things happen. I'm truly grateful that I can say "water off a duck's back" and keep going.

I hope you'll recover soon from the flu, I know it takes some time, but when your body is weak you need to rest a lot, this is the best way to be able to have your strength back, are taking vitamin C, double dose? drinking plenty of herbal remedies is good for you.
Be well.
