I attended a digital business conference last week in London. Here are five nuggets of information from it...
1) Always think, what can I do for my audience as opposed to what can they do for me...
2) Make wealth appropriate for the time you live in. For example it used to be all about making money from owning farming land in the 1700's. Then in the industrial revolution it was all about machinery. And now most of today's money can be made digitally!
3) You can make money with no stock these days.

EBAY AND AMAZON SELL OTHER PEOPLE'S STOCK! ETC ETC
4) Paid social media advertising is one of the best tools in the history of business for marketing in terms of its value for money, scale of reach and efficiency.
5) This one was the best quote. "People spend their whole life grinding away as a lawyer, accountant or a doctor. Hating most of it. They then force and encourage their children to do the same. It's a nasty cycle which is why you should always follow your heart.
