What's Your "Why"?
Maybe some of us came here and joined this amazing community for something to do - something to pass the time. But, I think in most cases, we all have a "why".
My why is my family. My husband is a Marine and we just had our daughter 3 months ago. Where my husband is stationed, it's hard to find work for us civilians. I had a job, but I had to quit when I got pregnant. So, since then, all I've ever wanted was to help provide for my family. I want my daughter to know that money doesn't just fall into your hands - you have to work for it.
Also, I suffer with depression and extreme social anxiety. Working with the public and dealing with strangers everyday is one of the hardest things I've had to do in life. Knowing that I can work right from my home, with my pj's on and my daughter by my side, makes me so incredibly happy. I love feeling comfort and contentment within my job.
I'm curious, what is your "why"?

Oh I have a lot of why's. One among them is what you mentioned about social anxiety. I am one of those guys who deserves points to just get out of the house. Also like someone said if you don't learn to earn while you sleep then you will work till you die. Being an employee stands in the way of getting rich and having a lifestyle.
My "why" is being self sufficient with the ability to work anywhere in the World. That's my "why", I'm still try to find my "how".

I have so many "why's" my three most important why's are:
I would love to retire my husband and here's why. My husband had a widow maker heart attack two months after he turned 40. He was so concern about me that, even in his condition he made sure I was taken care off.
That was the lease of my concern was, me. He made sure that I didn't have any worries. He assure me he was fine, when he knows he wasn't. There so many things he did for me I won't go into details.
I don't know, maybe I was in denial or just shocked. But I went about my days as nothing happened. But I was having anxiety attacks. My cardiologist diagnosed me with broken heart syndrome. I didn't know that was a real thing.
My second why is to help my daughter with her tuition. Books are expensive because I have been there done that and now with federal loans and private loans that I have to pay back.
My third why is I still have family in third world country that need help getting by. My cousin needed some money for her operation and I haven't send her any money.
Those are my most important why's. Hopefully that my other why's might fall into place if I can get my three most inportant whys fulfill.
