Your Greatest Support System Is Right Here

If you're brand new to joining Wealthy Affiliate then welcome, we're all glad to have you on the team. If you've been around even just a week or so then I'm sure that you know by now, this site has the most incredible support system. I'm not just saying this an affiliate, I truly do mean it. Whether you're confused over a new lesson, just starting out and stuck, or maybe want to network a bit, WA is your answer. I've never seen such a powerful group of individuals that truly want to make a difference in not only their own lives but in the lives of others as well. Let me explain in more detail.

You Need Constant Encouragement, We All Do

I've talked to a lot of people that are either interested in affiliate marketing and/or just getting their feet wet. The problem with so many is that they only get their feet wet and stop there because of fear or worry. If you let fear dictate your life then I'm sorry to say that you'll never achieve your dreams. You have to be willing to take a chance in order to succeed.

The phrase, "Rome wasn't built in a day," is one to keep in mind. Neither Rome nor your future online empire will be created overnight. Be patient and willing to work at it. You need to read and learn something new constantly. The idea is to start with the basics and work your way up. You want to build on a sturdy foundation. Don't get ahead of yourself if you're not ready. Don't skip lessons and do things you don't understand. It takes some time to get to where you would ultimately like to be. Take it one day at a time and use a pace that works best for you and your schedule.

I'm still learning new things every single day and it has been such an awesome journey so far. I can't wait to see what happens down the road. I read so many different articles and books that are centered around helping you succeed online in one way or another prior to joining. Some focus on positive reinforcement and encouragement while others are about techniques, skills, and that sort of thing. I even ran my own little side business on eBay and made a second income that way for over a year. Now I've moved in a new direction but my market and target audience still reside online.

Who Better To Support You Than Those Who Are Already Successful?

Sure, it's nice reading about people that made their own way by starting a business online but do you ever feel like you can't connect with them? You see these photos and think how rich they must be. It all looks so perfect that you don't even think it's a possibility for you. That's because all these people do is show you dollar signs and fancy pictures with no details. Maybe that isn't even their home. And that luxury car? It could be a rental for a day. We don't really know. You imagine them doing nothing but sitting on a couch surfing the web and being rich all at the same time. Unless they just inherited a huge fortune, that isn't reality. They had to start somewhere though, right?

My point is that these people just don't connect with us in the real world. I'm not saying that you can't live a nice life while being an affiliate marketer and online entrepreneur but it definitely doesn't happen in a week. You also won't be a millionaire this month. That just isn't how it works. It's not real life. Reality is when people work hard and find out what success means for them. And those people are here at Wealthy Affiliate. It isn't a bunch of hoopla and exaggerated success stories. It's real life people making a real life income. Some may do it part-time and use it to make money in addition to their day job while others have left that day job to do this full-time. And an online business doesn't even have to be 40 hours a week.

Despite where they are or how much they make, these people can relate to you. Better yet, they can help you and you can help them in return. WA creates more than just a learning environment filled with detailed lessons and instructional videos. It offers people this incredible platform to discuss ideas, share success stories, and find networking opportunities. Sometimes schooling isn't enough. Sometimes you need a bit more help. Who better to show you than those that came before you?

Use The WA Tools And Resources

If you are here then please use all the tools that you can. Live Chat isn't just a place to pop in and say hello. Sure it's nice to communicate with your peers and catch up. But it's more so about getting quick answers to common problems. You're not the first and you are definitely not the only one to come across a problem or question. Someone came before you and made the same mistake or learned something new and now they can help you on your own journey. That's why we're here, isn't it? If we knew everything from the start then we wouldn't need any help and we'd already be at the end of the road enjoying what we had created in the beginning.

Read the Blogs and Questions that others have written. You might find your answer before even having to ask it if you are just willing to do a little research on your own beforehand. You can learn so much just by using those two tools. Imagine combining your lessons with supplemental blogs written by other WA members that have been where you are right now. Just like I hope this helps people and motivates them to keep going, I've also referred to blogs to find answers and support myself.

Inspire Yourself And Others

One of my favorite quotes of all time is simply, "Life is what you make it." That may be annoying on a bad day. You may feel like you didn't make everything negative in that moment. Don't think of it that way. Instead, think about where you are going to go from here. You can be mad or upset over something or you can accept making a mistake and learn to do better the next time. You don't have to give up when something doesn't go as planned or when you don't find success at the exact moment that you would like to. That's a choice.

Life is full of choices and you get to make them so make the ones that benefit you the most. You might have to shut off that reality show and put down your video game for an hour today to publish something on your website but trust me, it's worth it. You can choose to work or to waste time. If you want success then work for it. You have the rest of your life to enjoy what you build for yourself now. It may sound silly but this thought process is ultimately what led me to choose the path and obvious name of my website.

Why? Because I believe that if I am willing to put in the extra work now then one day I can truly live the way I've always dreamed. I want to make enough money to do the things that make me happy without worrying about waiting until my next paycheck to make them happen. I want to enjoy life and not check my bank account all the time. I don't have to have a huge mansion or a far too expensive sports car.

I want financial security for the rest of my life. And if possible, I'd like to enjoy getting there. That's why I chose Wealthy Affiliate. It gives me the opportunity that I've always dreamed of having. It opens doors and connects you with those that truly want to help. You're never alone and you should never feel stuck either. Whatever You Do, Don't Give Up

So many people quit before they even give themselves a fair chance to make it. You can go wherever you want in life if you are willing to work at it. You can't waste time doing nothing for yourself and then complain about your life. It's your choice and it's your future. Make the most of it. Build new relationships and take chances. When you make that first sale, you'll thank yourself for having the courage to do something new. You'll make a second sale and then it'll just keep growing. You'll make sales more frequently and of higher values. Nothing will make you feel better than your own success. Knowing you created something great for yourself and others is an amazing feeling. That's why people do this.

Just don't give up. Remember, "Life is what you make it," so make it great!
