My Website Is Coming Along Nicely :
I'm super excited, friends!
I am still only in the early stages of building my website through the Affiliate Bootcamp training but I am feeling pretty good about it. I picked an awesome theme that really allows me to pull readers in with some clear images.
I have published my first three pages and am most excited about my Getting Started page. I downloaded a ton of free images through a website called FreeImages.com. You can search for whatever you want there, filter it to show only free images, create a quick login, then download as much as you want in different sizes too. I would like to one day move up and be able to purchase some even better pictures (I'm thinking bright and happy yet simple). For now, I am happy with what I have found.
So anyway...I'm just starting out but I have a great feeling about this site and I can't wait to keep moving through my training and learning more each and every day. I may edit my pages since they are a little lengthy but I think too much content is probably better than not enough.
So I am asking for honest feedback about my site so far. Any advice is more than welcome. Don't worry, you won't hurt my feelings : )

I like how it looks, but it also took me a really long time to properly load the home page (which ain't good).

Thank you for the report. I appreciate that. I am wondering, however, can I test it using Internet Explorer and/or Google Chrome and compare that to Firefox? It didn't realize it had an issue loading. Or does it matter what you use?
I do see that it recommends loading smaller images. I will see if I load the same pics but smaller sizes helps.
No thank you for introducing me to that web tool. Very useful stuff. I could still work on image size. We don't all have the same internet speed or browser so that is definitely something I should keep in mind. I know a lot of people recommend just going with something clean and simple as far as a layout/theme is concerned but I am moved by images when I surf the web. I want a beautiful website that draws people in and then let my content be the reason they stay : )
