Helping And Quality Comments

Helping Others Is Rewarding

Don't you love that feeling you get when you help someone else learn something new. I think it's always fun to share useful knowledge. By helping fellow Wealthy Affiliate members, we are helping to grow the community itself as well as the people in it. Networking is all about people working together, that's why I love the community here at Wealthy Affiliate. It's almost impossible to ever feel lost or confused with all these great members ready and willing to help out.

Focus On Quality And Connections

It's awesome to contribute answers to new questions and leave comments or feedback for other WA members. However, it's important to remember that the help we give is about quality. If you want to reply to a serious question that a new member has, telling them they asked a good question isn't a quality answer. I've only seen this type of thing a few times so far but I think it's important to mention when thinking about the way you help within the community. When you take the time to answer questions you are knowledgeable about, you make a connection with that person. I wish I had more answers but I am still learning new things every day. When I see a question I can help with, I try to take my time and respond in a helpful manner to best benefit that person.

You Can Teach Yourself Something New

You can find a lot of answers for others just by searching previously asked questions. I think when we get stuck our first instinct is to ask a question to fix our current problem or concern. But we forget that so many others came before us and ran into the exact same issues long ago. Instead of asking and waiting for answers, it makes more sense to do a little bit of research for ourselves. If someone asks a question that I am a bit unsure about, I search previously asked questions to see if I can help them out that way. Also, depending on where you are in your own training, you might remember a specific lesson or training that you can connect them with because it helped you out. It's great to answer when you know about it firsthand but it is even better to teach yourself something new while helping someone else learn too.

Let's Not Forget WA Rankings

While this shouldn't be the only reason that you help others, it definitely motivates us. You want to do good and get something great in return. That's exactly what WA does for you. By helping and creating, you increase your own member rankings. That Rank number in the little box next to your profile picture doesn't have to stay the same. My number gets closer to one the more work I put in here within the community. While it isn't my most important reason for helping others, it definitely influences me to keep going.

Keep On Commenting, Blogging, And Helping

So keep on keeping on! Help others when you can. Provide comments on websites and leave your own url so that others can do the same in return for you. If you ask for help then you should give help as well. That is an honest and fair way to do things. Haven't created a blog yet? Try it! You can even upload your own image. It's so much easier than you think. If you're not there yet then post a question until you feel a bit more comfortable with your own blog posts. Never stop helping others. We, the members, are what make this community great so do your part and help your friends in need. Let me know if I can be of any help. If I don't know the answer, I guarantee you that I can find someone else that does.
