Good Evening Everyone,

Let me just start by saying that I am so grateful for Wealthy Affiliate. Just a month ago, I was in my car driving to NYC and I just kept saying that I need to figure out how can I become an online business owner. Now keep in mind that I am very much comfortable with computers and with the Internet, but I had no clue of where to start and what program to begin with. However, as I researched, I found that Wealthy Affiliate was the most recommended, helpful and yet rewarding.

As I’m on the journey of learning here at Wealthy Affiliates, I have to be honest. I feel as though I am back in college, but in a good way. There is so much information, but its very rewarding right away. By this I mean, the program showed me how to create a website and within minutes I had a website with its own domain and everything. It was great! There is just one main issue! Once I created my site and paid for my domain, I wasn’t 100% sure that I was correctly following the idea of creating content for my niche. Better yet, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to stay with the niche I had selected.

One of the main lessons emphasized that it was imperative to choose a niche that you could create mass content on. Being as though I am a trained dancer and heavily involved in spirituality, I chose Health and Wellness products for Trained Christian Dancers. But then as I began to research and rethink my audience, I said, “Wait, this is just too broad.” I realized that a niche needed to be geared toward something specific in a sense. But in my mind I was just thinking, this idea could bring mass products to write reviews on. However, I had to be mindful that creating a site that basically looked as if I copied and pasted random products on a page just to make a commission was not what I desired either.

Two and half weeks into my lessons, I’ve just decided to focus on weight loss products and programs for dancers. It is an idea that I can write a lot about being as though I am a professional dancer and have worked for Nutrisystem for months. Even in that job I learned so much about diet plans, healthy foods and products that could help you maintain great health whether you are a dancer or someone with diabetes. I learned it all! I decided to use this first site as a means to test the waters and get the feel of how SEO keywords work and how to connect to affiliate programs.

I am very excited to see what the next few lessons will be though I constantly revert back to some of the previous lessons for guidance.
