Four Months with WA. Progress Report
I have been with WA for 4 months and yesterday posted my 20 th post. I think Mercury may have something to do with it!! I have written almost 32,000 words which is coming onto the size of a small book I find it takes me a long time to research and then write an article in excess of 2,000 words. Someone says we all need to write at least 3 articles per week. Frankly, that is not possible in this case. I am very disturbed to see that ths is 97% more than other people on WA. This would suggest to me that only 3% of the Membership are truly active.. I have made Google number one at least three times and a couple of times with Bing and Yahoo, but have not made any money which of course is a large purpose of the exercise. I have not completed my training as I feel I need to focus on my writing and the research required to do my real work, and my ranking on WA has been steadily declining. It now reads 7731.The reason is due to non-participation in the so called "WA Family".
I think I have misunderstood a lot of what this is about. My goal was to write Blog posts on my chosen niche, it has never been to recruit other people to WA. It seems a lot of this is geared with that in mind.
I advertise my Posts on Social Media. Facebook seems quite good but I use Twitter and Linked In too. I don't understand Instagram nor Pininterest.. I look daily at Google Analytics and am disturbed to see how page views seem to be declining. I did do a two week ad campaign with Facebook which pushed the numbers up. Clearly an opt in page for the Posts would be useful and so would a landing page. A funnel costs money, I believe. This poses another question as I am already spending $49.00 per month with WA and getting no return. The question is do I spend more money in the hopes of getting a return or do I look elsewhere for something else?. I guess I have reached a plateau.

Hi Alister,
I am sure that your hard work will not go to waste.
At least you have reached the plateau. I am still way down.
BUT I am not going to give up.
It is people like you (with your 20th post) who motivate people like me (only 2 posts) to do my best and try to get to where you are.
All the best to your future success

Great post Alister!
I can relate on so many levels. I am in your age group (my accompanying photo is 12 years old) and can identify with the combination of urgency and despair. I just joined WA last week and am convinced that this program offers a lot of "bang for the buck". Might I suggest you bight the bullet and enroll for a year?
I did - for the simple reason that I invested some skin in the game and to also not worry about monthly installments being due.
Don't concern yourself too much about rankings. Legendary Hall of Fame pitcher Satchel Paige once said, "Don't look back, something might be gaining on you". You may have reached a plateau but, it is not your final destination. If you're like me and consider this deal to be a journey, then stay the course. Another plateau, albeit a higher one, will come into focus on the horizon.
I have no blogging experience, as it is my desire to learn. When I consider the amount paid so far having an outside source build my website, what I can see offered here is a bargain! Entering the online business space, I have to get current current with, and somewhat mastering the technological skills necessary to even get a glimpse of success. Too many years of online evolution have passed me by while my head was in the sand - thinking I can get by with my antiquated belief system of doing things the "old-fashioned" way. How wrong I was.
Here I am today...needing a paradigm shift of ridding myself of old beliefs and procedures. This requires open-mindedness, willingness and faith. What an order! But I will go through with it.

Continue on with the training you will learn much more and there will be training by someone on Landing pages and Funnels I'm sure without it costing extra.
All the best to you Alister.
Hi Alister. The best advice I could give you is to stick with it. Any worthwhile adventure takes time. If you were able I would recommend you go to a yearly membership, which reduces your monthly investment significantly and takes the burden off your back for a year.
Believe in yourself and if you can't, just believe in the system. Take the time to finish the training and to keep learning to improve your efforts.
Hope you find your way.

I believe in myself. That's not the problem. It's the business model that this presents which is.
Wow, your doing really well, just to advertise your posts the way you explain in your post, puts you head a shoulders above anything I have managed to achieve in the 6-7 months I have been a member, I feel sure you will find some helpful + positive feedback from your post. Best wishes Paul
HI Alister,
I'm only able to put one or two posts together per week because like you, I do a lot of research for the material. I'm okay with that though. :) As long as I'm continually adding, I'm happy. Google has given me the nod so I think it's fine for now to add at that pace. The only thing I'm spending money on at this point besides the Premium membership here is for an autoresponder. But there are free ones out there..
I think you're doing great! It seems like when people are thinking of quitting, something happens to accelerate their growth. So hang in there! Paula
Hi Alister,
You just have to keep adding more content to your website. Success will happen but not on your timetable. You have to be in it for the long haul. Much success to you!
Kind regards,
Nichola
Hi Alister and thanks for sharing your progress.
We are travelling about the same as you so far.
I was at one stage doing three posts a week but had to pull it back to one, as research took time and we have another online business that needs attending to as well.
All the best for your future success.
Darren & Nicola :)

You have made it in Google ranking have done a lot in social media. I am not yet doing anything of it. But I am into learning and applying what I learn immediately. This is not a quick kind of getting money. The more you see some loopholes the better you become in filling it up. After all, this is but a Vehicle, your investment shud be a year in one go the way I did because it saves you a lot of money and it gives you the time to really make yourself grow. From here you could use ClickBank, Amazon and many others without paying them but using them through learning how in WA. I wish you all the best. Keep it going for a year. In my years of experience in this kind of business, it needs real patience and focus. I appreciate your assessment of where things are going with you. Perhaps with all of us. See it this way, earning money is never easy even in online business. But there will be a time after all the struggles we hopefully anticipate a windfall but this does not come in a month or in a few months, we know that. Nothing comes easy in the real world. let's just keep it up, tomorrow is another day...
