Take a big breath and jump right in!

I came across Wealthy Affiliate while mooching around on various blogs and websites and decided to take a little look. The first thing that caught my eye was how much I liked the green and blue on the site (ridiculous I know!). I liked what I read so decided to join up as a free member.

The reason why I was mooching around in the first place is a bit of a long story...to cut it as short as I can I have been self employed for about 4 years now. I make things! I make Ladies' and Children's Jewellery and also Dog Accessories and attend events and shows in the UK with what I make plus other Ladies' Accessories that I buy in.

Everything was going ok, i was working 4-5 days a week, making enough to keep the business going which was fine because I could work when and where I wanted but also spend time with my little boy, Alfie, who is 6.

It all started to go pear-shaped in October, 2014 when i caught some sort of viral infection. I felt rubbish and lost my voice but thought it's just a flu type thing so will be ok in a week. I continued to feel rubbish but still carried on working as I am a single mum so have no other option. I was unable to work more than once or twice a week due to ho tired it would make me.

I eventually went to my doctors and after 6 months of various blood tests and X-Rays I was diagnosed with M.E. which is also know as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

M.E. has got to be the most frustrating condition ever to someone like myself who hates sitting around doing nothing. I am quite a creative type so even if my body isnt willing, my mind is always working non stop.

I realised that as this condition can be with me for years I had to look at an alternative way of earning an income so started looking into making money online. Straight away what became apparent is that all the adverts, landing pages etc made me very suspicious straight away. My idea of a niche started from there....

I have an idea in my mind of what I want to do and can't concentrate on anything else as my mind is spinning with ideas! I've taken to writing everything down in a notebook so I don't forget anything! I have A LOT to learn as there is so much I don't understand lingo wise which I need to know all about and I am so pleased I have found this community to help me with things.

I love the idea of learning something new at the ripe old age of 41, and being able to do it from bed if I'm having a really bad day (like today).

It feels good getting all that off my chest! It makes it real now and I can't wait to get going!!
