momentum
I don't spend much time on WA recently because I am really focused on getting my website ready to go. When you sign up to a new opportunity you get all excited and full of energy but after a while it all seems to fade away. That's when you need to keep on going and actually produce the work you've been envisioning for yourself. WA is not easy. nothing is. But you have to get going until you create some momentum that will transform you into who you are supposed to be: visionary, motivated, engaged, driven, determined, courageous, hard working. Then it's not even about reaching your goal, but about the person you become in the process of doing it. It's about the whole experience that will lead you to be this new person. Creating the momentum of being someone dedicated in doing things and making things happen. be the real you

Your point is well taken, but allow me to offer a converse view. One of the best ways to stayed motivated and interested in what you're doing is to have a community of like minded people supporting you in your endeavors. People that know what you're going through and can help you work through things in your mind.
It's definitely a balance, and there are definitely people who spend too much time focused on the community and not their business. But the community participation is equally valuable. I can say this from experience as one who has tried frequently to do things on my own.
That being said, you sound like you're making progress so if it's working for you keep it up.
