I was introduced to Wealthy Affiliate back in September 2016; it was by a friend of mine called Damien studying his final year in Law at Manchester University here in the UK. He told me how While most of the students he knew where doing casual work in bars and shops to make ends meet, he had discovered something quite different. I remember the sparkle in his eye and the excitement in his voice as he endeavoured to tell me how he had discovered a website called wealthy affiliate.

Having been quite taken in by his enthusiasm for his “New Child “ I was very curious. I had given birth to my own child earlier that year and after my relationship with her father was now non-existent decided this could also be the perfect opportunity for both mine and my daughters future; a chance to forge my own success story.

Having signed up I was overwhelmed by the welcoming messages, enthusiasm and support by the community at WA. Everything you could possibly need to succeed was right there all “Under one Roof” I knew immediately that this was for me and I really could do this, at a time that was dark for me I could now see some light.

Sadly whilst the future looked bright the present became much darker, and due to circumstances beyond my control I became homeless and desperate. Without the help and support of my dear friends, I’m sure I wouldn’t be here writing this today. When people unite the possibilities are endless and almost anything can be overcome. United we are strong!

The sun is shining very brightly in my life now and the dark clouds have gone, and only now have I been able to commit to becoming a Premium Member. I too have a sparkle in my eye now just as Damien did when we were just friends back last year, although was the sparkle for Wealthy Affiliate or was it for me? ;-) You see Damien is no longer my friend, he is my rock, my soul mate and my everything, and soon to be the father to my second child J
