how can i share with the WA community my blog post?
No need to be obsessed with followers. When you publish a blog (I assume you are talking about WA blogs), it will appear on the Activity dashboard, therefore it will be visible to everybody.
Followers make no much difference (but this is my unorthodox view which may sound like a sacrilege to many who suffer from follower-itis infection). You realize this easily if you see anybody's blog here, they (me included) have thousands of followers and only a few likes and comments in blogs.
Your blog post is shared automatically on the activity dashboard
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/home
And all the people who are following you get an email notification of it. So the more followers, the more views
aww ok great, now i wish id had more followers before i wrote my first blog :) i know next time.

do you think its better to have a static homepage or your most recent posts? surely from a SEO point of view static must be better?
I am just getting started on my site but I would also think that a static page would be best.
Wayne
A static post is to be something you value most and the one that you tend to reach out to your reading audience. I would suggest making one of your posts static so that all the new posts you make go beneath it.
I don't comment on SEO.
I do not think there is a direct and simple answer to this. Curious about "surely" static is better from SEO point of view. Why?
I have both types in different sites, no preference in principle.
There is a way to have both in the same site, some themes allow for such a design, have it in one site, the static part and the blog roll as well.
am i not right in thinking as your home page changes with recent posts so does the way google looks at that page? if your most recent post isnt so SEO freindly wouldnt that effect your "status" with google eg
Posts in the blog roll are just excerpts, so a single excerpt makes no much difference. But the idea is that posts are always SEO friendly.
There is a bit of truth that a blog roll implies a continuously changing home page, but people usually overestimate the role of the home page. Nobody will be looking for their great new sites. People follow keywords and thus land on specific posts, this is a typical situation.
Hey Alexis, a static page for a promotion you may be running for a product maybe. If there's a landing page on your site where you want people to fill in their name and email a static page works.
Depending on the theme of your site, recent posts might not look the greatest on the homepage but that's only my personal preference.
From a SEO standpoint, I'm unsure but I know visitors on your site enjoy seeing new content. There are certain youtube channels I visit ONLY to view their new videos and when I see none, I leave.
just my point of view, hope this helps.
Static home page is great as a backbone and posts as sections for dynamic evolutionary content as the fill Alexis!
Thanks for your reply, i tend to agree, and it has to be better for SEO, a recent page home page is changing regularly then so is your ranking etc surely. im going to focus on a static home page ~ Alexis

Is it better to have a lot of content before registering your site (property) with google search console or is it fine to build it up on the fly? Or will google penalise you fo
Follow Kyle's training either in Affiliate Bootcamp or The Get Started Entrepreneur Course.
In both he will set up the registration and no, you don't need a ton of content first to do that.
Google doesn't penalize the lack of content but the quality of it, like plagiarism.
So don't worry :)
