I had to pull the trigger.
What's up beautiful people.
It does NOT pain me to say this now — since I'm at a stage in my life where I can afford a yearly subscription (wouldn't be able to say the same last year) — but yes, I took up the extended Black Friday deal and I have to say, that countdown timer up there is a powerful marketing tool...
I'm not one to post much on here, but given my recently acquired status, I'll probably do so more often.
I have one question for the affiliate marketers out there — HOW MANY of you leverage Email Marketing in your affiliate efforts, and how is it working for you?
Being an email guy myself (been helping ecommerce stores generate moolah via email marketing), I'm wondering how you'd translate selling affiliate products that aren't yours via your email platform?
Do you subtly mention programs, products, etc in your informational emails? What's your favorite best practice?
Stay safe,
-Alex

The "trick" for a lack of a better word is not to be constantly promoting or selling to your list. Do that and it's the fastest way for people to unsubscribe.
Yes your list is there to generate revenue but don’t abuse this privilege. If you do you will burn out your list and it will become worthless.
Peoples time is valuable. You don’t want to add to garbage information overload. So make sure everything you send to your subscribers has value and can truly help them.
There is a real person at the other end of that email address. And just like you and me they have goals and dreams so you make sure you respect that.
