Website Traffic and Ranking Improving Gradually.
So this is not an exciting update to most. However, I find it exciting.
I started my website in mid/late December 2018, but with the holiday season and spending time with my family I did not really get started until January 2019. Five whole months later and I am getting somewhere between 4 to 20 visits per day. Which is a huge improvement from 0-4 per day initially.
Using Jaxxy, I've also noticed that many of my key words are ranking in the top 1-3 pages in Google as well as Yahoo/Bing. Not a ton, but definitely some.
I have NOT monetized my site yet. I am still building it out, trying to become a trusted authority site in my relatively broad niche.
What I like and find exciting is the steady increase in traffic and rankings. In five months I have less than 60 pages/posts total - which is much lower than my initial target but I think that I was over ambitious (after all I work full time too).
I believe that over the next 5 months I will see even better results as I have learned so much and I'm becoming better at writing and working WordPress Blocks etc.
