Surprise Results, First Page Ranking in Google

Hello WA Community!
I have no formal way to check how my site pages are doing, so if anyone knows any that would be great lol. I just tried setting up Google Console in Google Analytics, but not sure if its working.
Anyway though, I googled a couple of my post keywords that I was aiming for, and to my surprise I was ranked on page 1 for two posts and page 3 for two posts. I didn't check all of my posts but i checked a decent number and most were not ranked in the top five pages of google search results... yet.
I have been working on my site since mid-December 2018, so its been almost 4 full months. I must say I am not happy with the number of my posts yet (still under 50). But I'll keep on writing.
Just wanted to say I was surprised that I ranked on page 1 of google for any of my content. I hope this is a sign of things to come.
