My First Real Site
Hello Wealthy Affiliate.
I joined originally back in 2014, had a not great site. Then deleted the whole thing because I didn't like it and went back to school for two years.
Fast forward to 2019. I completed my second degree, now I'm working full time at a great job and I am passionate about what I do. But I do not want to depend on my job. I want multiple streams of income, ideally passive to allow me to retire early, enjoy the finer things in life and continue to persue my passion (medicine). I invest in the stock markets (and I've actually done really well so far), and I want to get into real estate too. But I also want websites. Lots of profitable websites.
Its been about 6 weeks since I joined WA again. I've been working regularly on my site. Its in the cryptocurrency niche - I've been developing a strong interest in cryptocurrency since early 2017, before the big bull run lol.
Anyway, I remember reading somewhere that the search engines do not really like "small" sites (<20 posts/pages if I remember correctly). And that you really do not start to rank on the search engines (namely Google) until you are larger than 20 pages/posts, plus some time goes by (~ 6 months).
I've finally met the 20 post/page milestone, actually I'm at 22 posts/pages. It took me a while but my goal was to get there before the end of January 2019. I'm hoping to have ~80 posts/pages by the 6 month mark.
I have used Jaaxy for KW research, but I also have some pages that are purely for humans and there really isnt a good focussed KW... not sure if this is good or bad.
Using Google Analytics I can see that I've had 24 visitors to my site this month, mostly from social media (I have an associated Twitter Account). I would love more organic search engine traffic but that will take more SEO from KW and quality content writing.

Wow. I went to your site and am impressed and intimidated since i'm a newbie at WA but I'm glad I joined and continue to learn. Not sure why your having issues with no traffic to your site, but I'm sure you'll figure out the solution soon enough. For me, I don't know much about bitcoin or cryptocurrency as I'm not that tech savvy about those topics. I do think the visual design of your articles could look better if you broke them up and had borders or maybe ads from companies offering services about what you talk about and somehow add those links to your home page. Keep up the great content and stay focused on your goals!
