So I started my website in mid-December 2018. It took me the first couple weeks to get things set up, the first few pages written and posted etc. So its really only be the last 4-5 weeks of me writing good content for my site.
I have decided to keep a journal of my progress, roughly monthly logs.
In the last month (January 2019) my site had
- ~52 visits. Which is ~1.67 visits per day.
- Finished the month with about 20 posts/pages.
- Added a cryptocurrency price widget
- Most of my traffic comes from social media (Twitter)
- I have 146 followers on Twitter

No sales or ad revenue, but that is because I have not created any target affiliate links/posts nor do I have the volume of visitors to justify ads and I want to build my site for a few months before monetizing. Build that online presense and reputation.
I am honestly worried that Google will see a tiny site less than two months old that just tosses up affiliate links and wants ad revenue without being tested or visited by real people. I want to build a site for the reader first, then start to monetize.
My site is markshirecrypto.com - feel free to follow along with my progress.
