WebProNews, recently reported that Google is now implementing the AMP spec. While Google had previously announced Feb 24th as the start date, it now appears they started on Feb 23rd. Hey, what is one day among friends?
Webmaster tools has an AMP section under Search Appearance. This will show how many AMP pages Google has found on your site and if there are any errors. Keep in mind the AMP plug-in of WP only works on "Posts" not "Pages."

Noticed the started a bit early it looks strange to have so much blank space on the right hand side
