Wowee! So near and yet still a little behind!
A welcome ranking revealed!
I have certainly been taken by surprise today. I have just noticed that for the very first time since I joined W.A. about 12 months ago, My ranking here at W.A. has reached its lowest so far. No, i have not actually broken through the top 200 YET..... but I am currently only 16 away and this has really encouraged me to forge ahead despite still looking to get some substantial traffic and Google rankings. While I am aware that W.A. rankings should not be overestimated, it has served to boost my moral and convince me that I must be doing something right here and can only expect my confidence to rise further.
I can now appreciate how powerful and influential these incentives at Wealthy Affiliate are as i have seen other W.A. members get excited and "fired up" when their rankings have reached the top 200 I am now seeing these incentives as success targets which we can choose to aim for consciously or maybe unconsciously. Either way what a great way to motivate and launch us forward out of our "comfort zones" ( I am sure we all have some.) and launch us into our true destiny in wealthy affiliate on-line world. I still have a lot of learning ground to cover here, but it does not matter. I do more than survive... I thrive as a consequence of all this...!
Let us continue to nurture our mindset, away from those limiting beliefs and negative thoughts and strive for excellence, and uniqueness in our respective niches.
My hope and prayer is that this post will simply serve as a powerful motivator and encourager especially to newbies and those who are really with some issues as I have been of late. Let me say that however difficult or over-welming your particular problem or challenge is at present and I am sure many may be facing some at this moment. Determine in your HEART AND MIND now to see the end (that is your success/breakthrough moment.) and continue to put all your mental energy into focusing on this and not what is causing so much agravation at the moment.
I have found going back over some of the training here does prove very beneficial and pick up learning points that I had not even realised that I had overlooked.

Alan a lot of your points raised in your article I am sure we are going through at least I can speak for myself.
Just like what you have done I improved my rankings from 78,189 to 18,995 as at yesterday and that was over the past 6 days.

Another great post & your comments are almost as if you were speaking to me - LOL.
I am also slowly proceeding & I do go back over the training, even though I have almost complete lesson 2.
I will not proceed until I am sure I have mastered the lesson.
The lessons have been created in an order that one can develop and know all that is required.
If I read a book, I do not go to the last page to see the conclusion. Likewise, WA learning is structured to ensure the maximum benefit for success.
