If you are a MAC user you can now embed Keynote presentations into Wordpress
I am a frequent user of Keynote because the school where I work here in China is MAC based for the most part. I love Keynote because it is so easy to use when compared with PowerPoint and feature rich too. For example, if I want to mock up any pictures and create a white background, I use Keynote because it allows you to get rid of backgrounds on pictures and create a white only background using the image feature "Instant Alpha".
So, this latest news is good news for me. You can now embed Keynote presentations into Wordpress. I thought I would share this short piece of training.
I also like this guy, Gary. His short pieces of training are really to the point. If you are a MAC user it is well worth subscribing for his free training pieces. I have done one of his longer courses too that was very well presented. Here is the link the Keynote piece...

Thanks Alan .. I have not really used Keynote, have stayed with PowerPoint .. I did not know about the photo feature you mentioned, that is very useful and I will try it. I also subscribed. Thanks for the info. Cheers, William.
I find it a great tool, also so are Photos and Preview on the Mac too. Photos and Preview allow cropping and resizing; the 3 products together allow me to do most things with images for free.
Thanks Alan. I wasn't aware that you could embed Keynote into Wordpress. Very good to know since I have a MAC. I will have to try this.
I wasn't aware of this feature either, until this morning. One reason I subscribe to Gary's training messages is that I keep on learning about the MAC. Thanks for the reply and good luck with it. I will also refollow too.

Hey Alan
As I am not a Mac user, I wonder if there are any programmes with this type of feature for Windows users,
If you know of any please inform, I will be looking on the net,
I like the idea of a white background for pics as it gives the images a certain look of professionalism.
All the best Alan
Gary
Hi Gary, thanks for the reply. I am not a Windows user these days, gave up using Windows when Vista came out and failed to run Excel properly a few years ago.
I believe this can be done with some paid for graphics tools like Photoshop.
I now that microsoft publisher can do this and here is a link telling you how to do this:

Microsoft Publisher usd to be free with the Microsoft Suite but I don't know now.
I also discovered that Microsoft Offie 2017 has a remove background option in it. I don't have the product so I can only show you a reference to it.

You are welcome. I hope it works out for you Gary.
Hey Allan
I tried it and yes it works so I can now use discarded pics, by changing the backgrounds, I never knew that this was possible,
I have now finally found another use for Publisher, Thanks again Alan.
All the best
Gary
