I'm actually pursuing this.

Having spoken to my coach she mentioned that my book needs a 'call-to-action'. Why is everything about money?

So basically she was saying that to be successful, you need to write about something that will have an audience. For example, 'loss', 'forgiveness' and the call to action might be doing workshops on forgiveness or setting up a group where people can talk about their loss.

Personally, I think just writing about my upbringing, my parents, my schooling, friends, sponsored children etc would make a great read which I could write about with no 'call-to-action'.

I mentioned to my coach about other authors that have done the same thing to which her reply was that they're famous so people already know about them - not said in a belittling way.

With the likes of me and you, would anyone want to read our story (other than friends and family)? Yes. I believe they would.

With a great cover design and some Social Media marketing if you wrote a book about your life a LOT of people would read it.

Best wishes.

Possibly. I think it depends on what the person's life is about. For example, overcoming adversity, social contribution , etc

I have always thought about writing a book about my life. But, it has been a very unusual one. Complete, with the unknowns, that I am still trying to find out, to witchcraft in W. Va. No, I do not do witchcraft. But, my great grandmother did. She could make objects move with her mind. There was a very big newspaper article about her. She died the year I was born. 1960. So, I think if you have something interesting to tell. Yes, it's good.
