Getting Over the Fear and Self Doubt
My latest blog post is actually about this very thing. I allowed negative self talk to take over and keep me from progressing in this program for about a month. Starting something new can be overwhelming. I realized that reprogramming my thinking was my first priority if I was going to progress and grow. I've got goals that I'm determined to achieve but I never will if I can't get out of my comfort zone and start pumping myself up instead of bringing myself down.
You see, I've been wanting to do affiliate marketing for 19 years. Yes. That's right. When the Internet was still new, I had a vision. And I allowed my self doubt to talk me out of it time and again for 19 years. Can you imagine where I'd be if I'd just allowed myself to believe I could and moved forward? Knowing what I know now, it makes me pretty sick. But it's been a valuable lesson for me. I refuse to continue letting my negative thoughts sabotage my dreams.
I've begun to learn to be more aware of my thoughts. When doubts come creeping in, along with that anxious feeling in the pit of my stomach, I stop it in its tracks and replace it with positive thoughts and encouragement. A lot of times, I have to keep things in perspective and take each day, step, moment at a time so as not to get overwhelmed at the big things I'm hoping to accomplish and how in the world I'm going to get there. And it's working. At the end of the day, the truth is that my goals are absolutely attainable and the only thing that will stop me is MYSELF.
I want to thank Kyle and Carson for creating this program and platform. Otherwise, I'd probably still be sitting on the sidelines, watching the game with green-eyed envy. This is an awesome, supportive community and I'm thankful to be a part of it! Here's to our journey where only positive thinking is allowed and a bright future in store!

Great post Aimee and glad you have finally taken the plunge. Now comes the most difficult phase, having the patience to keep putting in the work day after day with no real financial gain. From your bio it seems that you are very passionate about your niche, which will make it so much easier to create great content each day. All the best for your journey.
