3 Things I've Obtained Since Joining WA
Where I Was
I was in my final year of high school when I learned about entreprenuership. And once I got that lesson, I knew that was what I wanted to achieve. I tried the sales direction with Mary Kay and Amway during my first and second years of college. I learned that I am not an effective salesperson. I just couldn't find passion in selling expensive makeup and other products that I knew I didn't have an interest in using. So I gave up on those particular endeavors. Even though I became discouraged after the fact, somehow I still knew that all I had to do was find my passion and I would have something to stick with for the long haul.
What 2015 Brought Into My Life
I knew nothing about creating websites or making passive income online prior to first of this year when I joined Wealthy Affiliate. I only stumbled upon the mentioning of the WA website while reading a review of yet another sales company I was considering joining. The author had revealed why working for the company under scrutiny was not worth one's time, but that WA was.
That was one of the greatest "stumblings" that I've ever encountered.
Success In the Making
Finding Wealthy Affiliate has given me these 3 things:
- Renewed Motivation
- Inspiration for Specific Goals
- Direction
Goals in Progress
While on maternity leave for the next 2 months, I aim to land my first client as freelance writer. Currently, I have enrolled into an online web writing course in order to gain as much knowledge as I can to achieve that goal.
My "smaller" goals include posting biweekly within my blog and completing the courses within WA over the next couple months as well.
I'd felt a thirst for this type of knowledge for years. But it wasn't until I knew exactly where to find it that I attempted to get it quenched. Yet, even now, I can never get enough of what I learn every day from WA and similar sites of other notable entreprenuers.
