Anxious for Success
Don't get me wrong..I'm beyond nervous. I am stepping into a whole new realm. For years, I have always known I wasn't the typical kid. Home, school, and everything else has always taught me to: go to school, get a specialized degree, and get a job. And even though I knew that my goal was always to work for myself, I began going through the motions because I didn't know where to start. I didn't know who to ask, or where to look for all the answers. And moreover, I didn't know what I was looking for!! When I first found out about Wealthy Affliliate, it was through Steve from IveTriedThat.com. I was looking for legit opportunities to make income online and he highly recommended it. The part that really hooked me in was the starter membership was free! And it had enough information to get you up and running. Other sites I've gone to give you very, very limited access if they have a free portion, which almost forces you to upgrade your membership just to see what they have to offer. Here at Wealthy Affliliate, I instantly felt connected to everyone here. I saw the information being given and how much support the community gives and realized that the monthly fee is just a small investment into my future. I mean I spend way more than that on food LOL. This nervous feeling that I have has not shaken since joining, and I hope it never goes away. It's that anxiety you get at your first sports game, the first time you drive a car, when you first climb to a really high height. That anxiety that keeps you focused on winning, achieving and performing at your best, before you get comfortable and begin to slack off. Every time you get nervous, just remember that everyone here (myself included) started in the exact same position you're in now. New, unsure, and anxious about where this will take them.
