I've found the best niche...

Even with the best of intentions to follow through, life takes over sometimes, or in my case, death. It's been an emotional whirlwind of a month for me, following my mother's death. I knew I had to get back to my sites, but funny thing. I discovered I WANTED to get back to them, and I was able to draw from what is going on in my life to write a blog.

I love the sweet spot building sites here has given me.

It's been a challenging few months learning to build sites, and I'm nowhere near done learning--are we ever?--but I've been motivated to go back to working on them, even in difficult moments because I love being able to give a creative voice to what's going on inside my head.

I think the biggest single piece of advice I would give someone just starting out here is to pick a niche you really want to get back to every day. It really helps get you through the hard stuff.

That said, because I have been gone for a little while, my website could use some activity. Please feel free to comment on my latest blog, or any others, or leave me feedback here. I'm happy to help you out and do the same.

Best of luck with all your ventures, and many blessings,

So sorry about your loss but I'm glad that you found something that brings you joy. ~Debbi

writing about what you are interested in makes the most difference of all. Wishing you all the best through these difficult times.

Great blog. So sorry for our loss. I remember when I went through the same thing. There is something very difficult about losing your mother. Be at peace...I will keep you in prayer.

Thanks everyone! I will take my own advice, because if I don't, I'll have to blog about that too...

I am sorry for your loss. I used to pick up the phone to call my mom months after she was gone. Your website has very good information on there. I left you a comment.

I'm sorry for the loss of your mother. My mom passed away almost six years ago and the pain doesn't just leave. That being said, the most beneficial thing for me was to get back to everyday life and activities. It sounds like you are getting there. As BrooklynPhil says, take your own advice. Do let yourself grieve but pick back up and keep going.

I'm sorry for your loss. I posted on your site.
Please heed your own advice, to get through this.

Blessings and best wishes to you Ahnna.
