Baby Steps Are Progress
It has taken me a little longer than I planned to get to this point. First of all, I didn't realize there was so much to this program and so many pieces to the puzzle of being successful online. Second, I have an infant that I care for pretty much all day every day (except for a little time in the evenings when my husband helps out after he gets home from work. During which time I usually cook, clean or shower! And on the weekends, if my husband is not at work, I might get a little time to myself to work on my stuff. As I write this I am enjoying my Sunday morning coffee and bacon while my husband watches sports and the baby sleeps on his lap.
The really cool thing is, I absolutely LOVE working on my website! I had no idea I was going to be so excited to write another post and find some kind of inner calling while completing the WA training. I'm talking little kid, totally geeked out excited you guys! It's all I think about! I have gotten up out of bed several times during the night to work on my website while the baby is asleep. Another facet of this I am having so much fun with is tying in social media pages and Pinterest. I am inherently altruistic and I spend hours almost every night searching for posts and websites and even books to recommend to my followers. And here's the thing, people are actually following my pages! I don't have a large following (yet! Fingers crossed!) but it is really exciting and rewarding to know that if I keep going with this I might actually have a real impact on people's lives! And the best part? I have finally found the thing that I love doing so much that it doesn't feel like work!
So here I am, still new, still learning, but I have taken some baby steps and I feel like I have gained enough momentum to run a marathon. This is so exciting for me. I truly see that hard work pays off with this program and that success is determined by what you put in. I can't wait to create more!
