Own Your Own Niche
A niche sets your business apart from competition. You need an exclusive niche. Make sure your competitors are not using the same one!
Your senses could be your niche; tastes, smells, sounds, looks and how it feels. When you target your senses, you're generating human reactions.
Your niche could be that your product is simple to use. People don't want to buy a product that is hard to use or understand. Made by hand, home grown and home baked could be key niches. Most people believe that products homemade, or made from scratch have better quality.
Think like your target audience. Put yourself in their shoes. Try polls and surveys to find out what they’re thinking. Once you have discovered your niche you have an opportunity to profit from your findings.
Finding your niche is half the battle. Test it. How does it stand up to competition? Does it appeal to your target audience?
These are a few ways that can set you apart from your competition. Always keep an eye open for new niches that will set you apart.Own your own Niche! Be your own Boss!

Hmmmm, I'm a cardmaker and was thinking along those lines. I've wanted for some time to have a place to showcase my cards, do some tutorials, showcase some tools I like to use. But there are a lot of websites and blogs like that. Hmmmm, thinking more specific.
