Family is a gift

When I thought about this pecious gift of having a family, I just rejoice and be thankful. Family is very important for everyone to cherish. There are times in our lives when it will be only family we will see in that time of desperate need. I have a very caring and supportive family and I am very grateful for them, so I show my love and support when needs be. It was 2 weeks ago I went out of state to visit my son and his family and it was really a moment to cherish. We spent time together sharing and conversing with each other, going out for dinner and watching the Atlanta Braves baseball game. It was just a refreshing time away from home to be with family.

Family is a divine gift and living in love and harmony is very essential to have a good relationship. In time of sickness or death, its always the family members that are called upon to be in control of the situations, Friends will not take the responsibilities of your loved ones but will go above and beyond to find relatives. We should love our family and treat each other with respect and kindness, so that if and when we need help there will be no hesitation or resentment. I believe that everyone should have family, even if its not a big one. In today's world many people are just having 2-4 children but thats good enough and at least they will be the support for their parents when they get old and need to be taken care of. Family is truly a gift and I wish that no one should be alone as, "no man is an island, no man stands alone, each man's joy is joy to me, each man's grief is my own. We need one another, therefore I'll defend, each man as my brother, each man as my friend". This is a song I sang for the ones without family.
