How Much Have Written on Your Websites?

I just got done writing an article and apparently I write a lot according to my stats. I’m curious how many words you all have actually wrote since joining WA. I look at my number everyday and I often wonder if the percentage is accurate. I’m not sure I believe it because there are over 1M people at WA.

Maybe a majority of people join, life catches up to them and they forget to maintain their website, add content and finish the training.

You’re still paying the monthly fee but you aren’t writing, why? YOURE WASTING MONEY! Success is not going to come to you. You have to go get it, and it won’t be easy, nothing worth doing ever is. What did Kyle say? “Do what you hate” or something of that nature.

That’s actually really good advice, I’ve been doing things I can’t stand outside of my comfort zone at work and it’s really going to help for my performance review. You’d be surprised of the rewards that fall out of the sky when you keep working and doing those annoying things that drive you crazy.

Are you one of those people that write non stop where no one can catch you or do you fall in the other category? It’s not a horrible place to be because we all have our own personal issues and demons we struggle with in order to get stuff done, but you can’t stop there.

“I don’t have the time!” Yes you do. You just have to find it. Anyway, I’m getting off topic, I’m not sure if this is too invasive for some of you but I was curious about your stats. How many words have you written on your website since joining?

Are you proud of that number? Why or why not? If you’re proud of that number keep doing what you’re doing, but be a little better today. If you’re not proud of that number guess what? Be a little better today.

Every day be better than yesterday.

It's a little skewed for the results. Me, and I think others don't always use SiteContent to write the post. But keep doing your great job.

Ingrid

Thanks for the post, Ibrahim. I haven't written very much, as yet, but will work more on that. Thanks for the reminder.

Hi Ibrahim thank you for sharing

Many people here at Wealthy Affiliate write straight to WordPress and not everyone uses SiteContent to produce their content.

This could be why the figures are the way they are.

I hope this helps

Also you have not shown how much you have written since joining?

Here's to making it happen

Jennifer

I was kind of nervous to say because I didn’t want it to sound like bragging or making someone too discouraged not to show their number. I’ve been here since June and it’s 25000

Brilliant way to go.

I would not have thought you were bragging you are just sharing in the same way that many share their earning.

Nice to meet you

Wising you the very best success here at Wealthy Affiliate

Jennifer

I believe that percentage are those who use site content for writing their blog.

I think the percentage shows only what you have written through site content, not directly from WordPress. And I think that the majority of people, including me, prefer writing from WP.

You could not have said it better. I have often found myself asking the same questions about the statistics. I have been here at WA for less than 2 months and have made huge strides and apparently have wrote more than 80% of the people here. I don't know if its correct but I just keep following the training and write content when its part of the course.

I have wrote almost 7,000 words on my site and I am happy with that number at this point. I enjoy writing the content and find it flows fairly easy but I still have so much to learn about content.

I'm sure some people start out like gang busters at first and do not make money or get rich so lose interest or like you say life catches up with them. I have a lot of free time to work on it, so I try to apply myself to it on a regular basis and stay focused. I have really enjoyed the process of building a website, writing content and learning and that keeps me motivated each day.
