Premium Commitment"

Upon joining Wealthy Affiliate I became Premium almost a week later, after which I received very encouraging messages from Kyle and Colson, as well as others in the WA community. Yet, I found myself constantly sifting through the posts, blogs and comments trying to understand why this was such an important step and why others were constantly showing their support for me “going premium.” I had read about it before signing up, but there was so much information for this “newbie” to grasp. Subsequently, as I began reading the benefits of Premium Membership again, the word “commitment” came to mind.

When we choose to commit to something or someone we become obligated, setting priorities for that which is most important to us. The same principle applies to Wealthy Affiliate. Once I chose to go Premium, it showed the WA community my willingness to commit time, persistence and yes, even finance, that I might achieve my goals.

First, it is important that I set aside the necessary time to complete the training classes, community interaction and other activities offered through WA, in order to meet my objectives. Next, persistence is essential. It is obvious that Wealthy Affiliate is no overnight, “get-rich-quick” scheme, for which I am grateful. Therefore, I will need to be persistent in completing the training; learning and applying all of the knowledge, skills and techniques involved in building a successful, online business. Finally, finance: I am aware of the impact of financial commitment, which is to invest in WA Premium membership. As an entrepreneur, it is imperative that I invest a certain amount of capital into establishing a business - whether a large amount such as purchasing a brick and mortar franchise, or simply investing in the cost of monthly/ annual membership premiums for an online business. WA has certainly demonstrated through their training, expertise, opportunities and support offered in this program, that “going premium” is well worth the investment.

Since becoming a Premium member one week ago today, I can better understand, as well as appreciate the enthusiasm and support of the WA community. Acquiring Premium membership shows my seriousness and commitment to the Wealthy Affiliate Program. This is being demonstrated as I take time to finish this blog and get it posted; continue daily persistence in Boot camp training until I complete the course, while learning to interact with the WA community; and maintain my financial obligation to Premium membership. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this great affiliate program and supportive community, and look forward to learning and sharing with many of you!
