A few months ago I was at my computer working on a major project when, suddenly – A Disconnection! Although working off-line allowed me to get some basic things done, I had no internet connection and therefore had to momentarily set this important task aside. Shortly afterwards a repairman showed up at the door letting us know that they would have the problem resolved and have us “back up and running in just a short time.”
Consequently, the “short time” turned into two long days, apparently running into some unexpected problems with the cable system in our area. Due to the nature of the situation, I was challenged to continue essential tasks offline until the problem was fixed.
Result: Two Days Later - Problem Fixed; Mission Accomplished! While this experience slowed me down somewhat, the project was still completed in a timely manner by "Doing what I could, when I could."
The Wealthy Affiliate Connection
Due to unforeseen ministry demands and responsibilities, what was supposed to be a brief “furlough” from the WA training classes (power source) turned out to be several months!

While unable to “attend” and follow up with training classes on a consistent basis, I was however able to log on early in the morning or late at night and do some commenting on successes and brief interaction, when and where I could.
Certainly this allowed me the opportunity to interact and make friends with so many helpful and positive people here at WA!
Yet, all of the great community support and interaction of itself is analogous to working off-line, without having connection to the power source – the excellent training found here at WA. As important as the basic interaction is, the training is most critical.
Result: Plugged In and Ready to Go!! Therefore, after an approximate 10 months “leave” from the online training courses, I have officially returned back to class and posting!
