Am I out of my depth???
I'm in the process of starting my own blog (with my name as the domain, but I'm having trouble coming up with keywords to target for the blogs homepage. And was wondering if anybody out there could help cause i'm sorta stuck in a bit of a rut at the moment.
The blog is going to be about internet marketing and personal development. I want to be able to help others with there personal issues aswell as promoting WA to help others learn about online marketing.
I don't know weather to start a blog under another domain for this purpose or to use my name as the domain.
Should I be going down this path, or am I out of my depth?
Anybody got any suggestions??? Any would be appreciated.

Hi
Great idea to use your name as a blog because it will become an authority site, my recommendation would be to link it to another IM related site as well. Use WA to find your keywords and if you are stuck on that send me a personal message.
Take a deep breathe we all had to start somewhere. To find out what other people are blogging about read other sites from respected anems like Matt Carter or Andrew Hansen, etc.
Hope this helps Catherine
Thanks so much for the suggestion Catherine. I thinks that's a good Idea, about starting an IM related site as well. Do you think I should target one or two specific keywords for the personal blogs homepage, or should I just write what comes natural?
Thanks again.
Regarding keywords the answer is both. Write what comes naturally but target specific keywords within that post

Tell your story on your homepage or make your homepage a blog roll. You don't always have to "target" a keyword on your home page, this can be done within the pages and posts on your site. I would not be too concerned, my best suggestion would be just do what feels right.
Thanks for commenting Kyle. I was kinda hoping you would. But I know how busy you must be, so thanks so much for the advice. It's great to see that you go out of your way to help people and I hope to do the same one day. If you don't mind.. I have one more question for you!!! Do you think I should start an IM blog along side my own to promote wa or should I just do it on my own blog, and try to keep things as simple as I can for now?? Thanks in advance for taking the time to respond. Greatly appreciated! If there is anything I could to to repay you please don't hesitate to ask. Cheers mate!
Keep things relevant and simple for now. You can now promote WA via our new share model (rolled out today) and it is as easy as click any of the share buttons above ANY blog post or training resource. This passes your affiliate details through so you get credit for all sales generated from your sharing activities.
For now, don't worry about creating a site to promote WA, promote something that you are interested in, knowledgeable of and passionate about. This will provide you with the most fulfilment and the best learning experience.
Sounds like a good plan. Thanks again for the advice Kyle.
