Something to consider when choosing a Niche!
I've tried countless of times to earn money from websites in different niches and the one thing that usually hits me and stops me from progressing is boredom . That's right, I get bored writing about things I have no interest in. I mean where am I supposed to find the motivation if I'm not passionate about the topic?!
The most common things people will want to choose are "Make Money From Home" or "How to Lose Weight" because they seem like the obvious "jackpot" choice but are they truly passionate about it, can they add value?
I'm not saying they can't be monetized but if you're not truly passionate about it, how can you find the strength to keep going at it in order to get to the big leagues.
Look at it this way, would you take weight loss advice from an overweight person? Probably not! Could you take weight loss advice from someone who looks lean and athletic, of course! Why? Because they practice what they preach!
You have to have experience in your topic! Most people will choose something they know well but some will choose blindly (which category will you fall into?).
They say wealth comes from giving value, when you give value people will trust you and build a relationship with you, they may never talk to you, they just simply resonate with your way of thinking and develop trust towards you.
Can you offer value in your chosen Niche?!
More importantly, do you want to give value?
After 100 Blog posts, would you still want to write more?
Choose your Niche Wisely!
I hope this has been some help for you and bottom line is.. Choose a Niche you know you can add value to, something you have a strong opinion about or at least some knowledge about, something that you really could get people to trust you and you'll go far..

Adam, well said. Being passionate about your niche subject is absolutely important. It is something to seriously consider when choosing a niche. I believe any niche can be monetized but we must also consider the market size. While the weight loss niche is vast and makes hundreds of millions of dollars, other niches are tiny in comparison and will garner very little income no matter how passionate we are about our niche. Researching our niche will help us make wise decisions and payoff in the long run.
fully agree, I never understood the whole. "choose anything" approach.. You have to love what you do, if you do it for the love, the success will follow :)
