Busted Through Overwhelm
I'm really happy with my progress in just one month, however it did take lots of confusion and too many ideas leading to stress before moving past course 1.
It took me 3 attempts to get past Course 1 but now, just a few weeks later it was well worth it.
Working out my niche was difficult. I knew it was guitar but it's such a huge topic and my first few attempts left me overwhelmed.
I could sense that simple is better and the more narrow the niche the easier to start but as ironic as it sounds - simple just seemed so difficult.
Now I can see more clearly I am back to my original idea which seemed completely overwhelming just a few weeks ago.
The problem wasn't the domain name, the niche or anything other than my fear of the potential - both good and bad. I feared both success and failure before I really started.
My motto now while moving through this course is....
One lesson at a time and KISS (keep it super simple)
My website is http://acousticguitarteacher.com and it's not overwhelming anymore. It's a fun process.
Cheers,
Adam

I am so glad you are no longer overwhelmed and are back to enjoying the journey! I think we all go through the overwhelm phase! :)
Adam, I quite agree; it can all be a bit overwhelming and a frustrating at times but my view is that this is a journey, a long journey of discovery. I have added strings to my bow; I can now work wordpress, I've created a website that people are visiting, I've created content and I've created dynamic menus. These are all new things to me and it's only the start. I'm about to start course 3 and I'm sure a heap more new things to learn too. All possible because of WA.
Keep going because as you say, it's fun!
