Dealing with Delays!

Last week I blogged about my new goal to get 3 gardening articles published on my website every Monday, Wednsday and Friday and do a WA blog every Saturday. The goal is to do 2 information articles and one product review article every week.
Obviously I did not get the WA blog out Saturday since its now Monday but better late than never as they say. Between my wife and myself we did get 2 articles out last week. I even have the third article completley written and ready to publish, so what went wrong and what can I learn from what happened?
On Thursday I was having a productive day of giving and requesting WA comments. I had a couple of really important things to do on the website but decided to put them off for a few hours so I could watch a movie with my daughter. BIG MISTAKE! Halfway through the movie the internet went out! They could not send out someone to fix it until Saturday. So my 3 hour delay turned into more like 2 day delay!

As soon as the internet was fixed Friday I rushed to post my article, but then I saw the main affiliate I was featuring in the article was pausing their affiliate program while they fix technical problems with their website!
I was so frustrated but have decided to stay positive and learn from the experience. I am going to work as hard as I can to complete 6 articles a week and keep publishing 3. That way in 4 weeks I will have an extra 12 articles ready to go at any time to avoid future problems like this.
So the answer I have to these roadblacks and delays is no longer to get discouraged, but to take less breaks and work at it even harder!
