My traffic is going up! Thanks to Pinterest!
Hello WA friends,
it's been a while since I have posted a blog but I have been busy concentrating on getting traffic to my website. I had been worrying because I hardly had any organic traffic except for WA comments. I kind of knew it was normal since I don't have that many posts yet but still, it was disturbing reading about others' successfully getting traffic & being very young websites too!! My posts were ranking number 1 on Google etc... but just 0 to maybe 5 visitors daily...
I decided to really concentrate on marketing my content on Pinterest. I started my Pinterest account about a little over a month ago now. I had read success stories about Pinterest so I really worked to gain more traffic via pinning! And it worked!! I now have 140k audience on Pinterest and slowly started seeing my traffic going up. My most reached 22 visitors. Then a couple days ago, it dropped to 6. :( I was so disappointed but this morning, as I checked on Analytics (not expecting much), to my big surprise, I discovered that 115 visitors came to my site yesterday!!!! I was so thrilled!!
I am so excited and want to thank WA community for the great training & tips provided here on the platform !
If you are new and like me worried about getting no traffic, don't give up! Get on Pinterest & Work on it!!

That's great, Anne! I can totally relate. I'm also trying hard to increase organic traffic. For the last month, it reached only 5.79%. Most of the traffic I get is from other WA members.
I've been using Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. So far, Facebook is the one that gets me the most visits.

Still do not understand how to claim my domain on pintrest been Attempting this for 2weeks now any advice or guidance would be Really helpful yes I have followed the steps but do not understand How to put HTML META TAG to head of website which website? A BIG WELL DONE! elizabeth

You should download the "insert headers and footers" plugin. It's been a life saver for me.
Once you have the plugin you will see it in the "settings" section of the sidebar menu in your WordPress. Click on it and paste the tag in the header section, save and done!
I hope this helps! I had a hard time doing the same thing you're doing till someone told me about the plugin. It's SO useful! ☺️

If you log into your WordPress and go to plugins in the left sidebar you can go to "add new".
Then you search for "insert headers and footers".
Once you find it, download and activate it.
Then go to your settings in the left sidebar and you'll see the plugin there, mine is near the bottom of the settings.
It's much easier than trying to add it into the header of your site on your own.
I had a hard time with the plugin at first, too but once I found out where it was hiding (in the settings) then it became very easy.

Can you tell me what does nickname mean ? to give to a affillite program as I put in the one above but its not accepting it thank you:) elizabeth
Through which affiliate program? For example on clickbank, when I want to promote a product it asks me to put my name that I signed up on clickbank with. Try that if you signed up with a different name then that's the name they want.

Hi yes it is clickbank but they have asked me for my affiliate nick name so I don't know as I have tried that but it is not working
Yep. They mean the name that you have signed up for clickbank with.
If you go into your clickbank account you will find your nickname there. I couldn't remember mine either but when you login to clickbank it brings you straight to your page where it tells you you're earnings, you can find your nickname at the bottom where it says "sales by account"
Your nickname should be there highlighted in blue
Congrats! I have similar results and now getting started with YouTube. All of these help direct traffic back to ones website. Glad it has worked out well for you.

I am very happy for your success. Kyle states in the last section of the Training that we should Post everything we do on WA on Facebook and Pinterest at the same time. I had decided to put this off because it is challenging enough for me to keep up with one website and to try to do 3 at the same time would be super challenging. But, now thanks to your Blog, I understand why he said we should do it. Thanks for the confirmation and I wish you much more success in the future.
