Hi, ive just registered with adsense and to activate it says I need to connect my site by pasting a code into the home page of my site. Only thing is, my home page is a blog ro
This is not asking you to place anything on a page that is visible but rather some hidden code.
You need to make a change to the header.php file. Under Appearance look for Editor and then the header.pho file.
When you click on it it will open in the editor.
Place the code you have copied (above) immediately below the statement that will look like
<head> or <head followed by something>
Then save the header.php file
Note - backup your complete site before doing anything like this in case it goes wrong.
Great thankyou heaps for that, would never have worked that out myself. Backed up first, pasted in and saved. Hopefully get confirmation from google adsense soon enough. Cheers
