Hi guys, I'm in the process of setting up my email and I'm debating between a normal email address and forwarding one to a personal account. I'm leaning towards forwarding to my

One way is to use Microsoft Outlook, which easily allows for checking and responding to multiple accounts using one interface. Emails are automatically responded to using the appropriate account, and you can easily create and send emails from any account. Using one send and receive button can check many accounts, and sort into separate mailboxes if desired. It saves a lot of time, and there is no need for forwarding.

Hello. as you put "for the sake of professionalism", it is best to have a professional email for each site. And then forward that email to one email account. Many of us here at WA have multiple websites and this is what we do. In my case, I forward everything to my gmail account. You don't need to check the emails from each site for replies since it is automatically forwarded.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking... but if you needed to reply to an enquiry, what email address do you use?

well, there a few factors here and it does depend on your email program. Some programs allow for a certain name to appear - there is a name for that which I forgot. More simply, it would be the email that you forwarded it to. But in the case of Gmail - once you receive it, you can change the reply email. Also, in the case of multiple sites - if all your sites have one centralizing theme, then maybe create a email that can function as the central email and have everything forwarded to that. It depends on how specialized you want to be with your multiple sites and have emails that specific as well.

I assume you know how to set up the forwarding here at WA. If not, I can show you.

Thanks for the reply. I think I know what you're talking about, some sort of "reply to" email address in gmail, I remember coming across it a while back. Thanks so much, I think I know where to go from here :D

You may need to look into an email service like Aweber.com. You may also want to look at the classrooms tab on the left side of the page. The email marketing classroom covers more than I can help you with. hope this helps

thanks, I'll take a troll through and see what I can find :)

I like normal

thanks for the comment :) Are you managing multiple sites at the moment and just check each one?
