Helpful Blog Checklist

Hey y'all!

I must admit that I'm oddly excited and nervous to make my first WA blog post! Why exactly I'm a tad bit nervous, I'm not quite sure.... I've actually been struggling a little bit lately with "finding my voice" and getting myself to write my content. Thankfully, I think I'm on my way to overcoming that (:

Anyways, along my journey of just getting started out here, and in an effort to avoid writing the content that I know I need to be writing... I happened to stumble across a new blog that had some really great checklists.

I'm kind of a checklist geek. I love them! & I love the ones here at WA!! They are definitely helping me stay more focused and on task and actually implementing as I go!

I'm not at the stage where I can implement all of these yet, but I am filing the list away for someday soon.

I know I found these to be insightful and helpful, so I figured I'd pass them along as well, assuming that someone else will find it helpful as well.

I really am so thankful that I stumbled across WA and this awesome community here. Y'all rock!

Now Here's to some happy writing time :)...

Ps. What music helps get you in the mood to write?!

Congratulations Alicia on your 1st blog post. Yeah I know it can be very intimidating "speaking" to a new community. No worries, you made it! We are all friends here and happy for you to share any thoughts.

Do you know what I have used checklists for years I would be totally lost without them.

A checklist for when I create a new blog post.
You know, keywords in title, in 1st few paragraphs, include Image, deep link to other posts/pages, Share on twitter, etc, etc.

Creating a checklist I think is a must as you work through the training
here at WA. There is so much to learn if you are a newbie. You can then note the lesson numbers in your checklist for a more detailed review if needed. Also detailing any extra training provided by Jay (Magistudios) and other members. Best to keep this on the computer in a spreadsheet or digital notebook so you can copy in the page links.

Looking forward to your next post already as you move through the training.

Wishing every success

Dave

Thanks Dave! I forgot to post a link to the checklist I did find. & I like how you are doing your checklists! I started some of mine on a google drive doc that way I can access it anywhere! I'm going to incorporate your suggestion of noting the lessons! Thanks!
