Weighing the Options
I joined Wealthy Affiliate on May 15, 2015. 5 months have passed and I continue to rigorously pursue each lesson one after the other. But I have to confess that in my heart there still remains a few doubtful questions. For myself, learning a completely new business skill is overwhelming but I have not giving up! Personally, I believe in always finishing what I have started, I also believe that no business can be establish without HARD WORK and SACRIFICE. Do I regret joining WA? ABSOLUTELY NOT! It has been a true privilege to learn from Kyle, I have acquired much knowledge and many new marketing skills from each lesson (feels like college all over again). And I am close to finishing my long awaited Art/marketing website. Will I continue with Wealthy Affiliate? DEPENDS! Not everything has turn out the way I have hoped and there are still many more obstacles to overcome. My decision to continue with WA will only be found at the finish line of lesson 5.

These are questions about WA I have speculated and evaluated throughout my learning.
1. Is Wealthy affiliate just another scam?
2. Does this business involve scamming money from other people?
3. Where are the hard facts that proves WA to be a legit business?
4. Is owning a online business REALLY that simple? (my highest doubts beset this question)
5. What are my chances at succeeding with this business?
6. How Long will it take for my business to flourish?
7. Should I shear what I have learned with friends?
8. What is the success rate for the people who have joined WA?
9. When will I make my first dollar?

Answers:
As I progressed through each lesson the truth behind of WA continues to reveal itself.
1. Is Wealthy affiliate just another scam?
NO! To my surprise WA is a constituted system of online networking built upon popular and well know business such as Amazon, Facebook, twitter, and many others. All the knowledge and information found on the website has been thoroughly researched and tested beforehand by the founding members of WA. (Well, at lest from Kyle’s behalf, I have not read much from Carson)
2. Does this business involve scamming money from other people?
NO! WA does not involve manipulating friends, family, or people for money. It does however teach first-rate techniques for marking and sells. (Best thing I like about Kyle is that he greatly encourages all members not to employ manipulative techniques on their websites. “You are in the business of helping not selling”
3. Where are the hard facts that proves WA to be a legit business?
WA has a network of people constantly interacting together online 24/7, these are real people, average joes like you and me. They all have real goals and dreams they want to accomplish through WA, they all make mistakes and are always asking for help (online). WA also provides a 24 hour online support system to help members with any technical questions related to their lessons or website.
4. Is owning a online business REALLY that simple? (This one gave me the most trouble)
The honest truth is NO! Not simple at all. It takes hard work and discipline to effectively authenticate your website and business, success comes at a great cost! Truth is - To succeed in WA a complete change in lifestyle is vital and ones successfulness is accompanied with many disappointing moments. No matter what happens your attitude must always be NEVER GIVE UP! Even if money is not secured at first. I know that this is a unfavorable subject to talk about in WA but many will face this experience. I would be lying if I said otherwise. No business can be establish without handwork, sacrifice, and hardship.
5. What are my chances at succeeding with this business?

7. Should I shear what I have learned with friends?
Speaking only for myself, for now my answer is NO! Because since I am unsure of my own success I do not want to be label as a hypocrite. I never preach what I cannot live myself, that is one of my golden rules.
8. What is the success rate for the people who have joined WA?
No answer, I have no clue what-so-ever!
9. When will I make my first dollar?
Not any time soon! Its been 5 months and it would probably take more time to get the ball rolling.

Great blog. Keep it up you are doing great. Let me answer a couple questions for you. What are your chances of success. If you really want it 100%. There are successful people in WA. They don't tend to share dollar figures with you but why would they be here so long if they were not successful. From what I have been told 5 months is still a youngster in online marketing. Kyle tends to lean toward a year.

Do you know what the percentage of people who succeeds in WA compared with those who do not? What is the drop out rate for new members? Are there any extreme methods I can take to avoid become a drop out? (For ex: in college my mentor tought me that students who have a supporting spouse have a higher percentage of graduating compared to those who are un-marred .) Also would u consider yourself to b one of those who have succeeded in WA? U don't have to answer if these questions r to personal! Thank u for ur reply!
Sorry, I don;t have any numbers. I would say support of spouse or friends helps but you need a lot from within. I am not successful yet. I have only been on this journey for just over 2 months. But I am seeing improvements every day.
Sorry for such harsh questions, I wasn't trying to interrogate you, i was really just venting my thoughts, just want to be honest about my fellings.
No problem. I did not take it as harsh. You had honest questions. Wish I had more information for you. Maybe some of the ambassadors will see this and chime in and help you out.

I am one of the people who has succeeded in WA and continue to do so with their help Chaer. I don't know the stats for people who succeed vs fail, but those stats aren't the only ones to look at.
One of the many things I see with people in WA and online business is they quit too early, want fast results and get disappointed (quit) or don't follow along the training. These are also MAJOR factors in people quitting the business, but also blaming outside sources for it.
So to avoid being a dropout, don't be one of these people lol. Follow the training, work on your site, ask questions and have fun with this.
Thank u 4 sharing ur personal info with me, I agree with u about everything u have said, there is more peace on my heart now! To b honest I'm leaning more towards leaving the business but I want to finish the lessons before I make a decision, please continue to encourage me, I'll be needing it!
